Job Title: Painter Supervisor (NOC: 72014)

Salary: $ 37 per hour (based on experience/training)      

Type: Permanent, Full time 44 hours per week (overtime after 160 hours a month)

Schedule: Variable, may include nights and/or weekends

Positions Available: 2

As a Painter Supervisor (NOC#72014) your duties and responsibilities are:

·         Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies.

·         Read blueprints and drawings.

·         Ensure health and safety regulations are followed.

·         Keep daily log and safety paperwork.

·         Recommend personnel actions.

·         Set up machines and equipment.

·         Train or arrange for training.

·         Co-ordinate and schedule activities.

·         Supervise workers and projects.

·         Lead by example on the tool’s use/maintenance.

·         Ensure deadlines are met for all projects.

·         Ensure a clean a personable environment on all projects.

Minimum Education:

·         Completion of secondary school

·         Minimum 5 years of related work experience

Additional Skills:

·         Must have a safety conscience approach in all tasks and be able to maintain a clean workspace

·         Must be able to work as part of a team

·         Must have high attention to detail

·         Must be punctual

·         Must have a positive, personable attitude

·         Able to work with minimal supervision

·         Responsible, reliable, and hard worker person

·         Must be professional and able to communicate with client’s as needed

Other requirements:

·         Must have a cell phone

·         Must have a valid AB Class 5 license (or out of province equivalence), clean drivers abstract, and a reliable vehicle

•     Valid First Aid certificate

·         Valid Fall protection training

·         Valid Aerial Work Platform ticket

·         CSTS Ticket

·         MSDS Ticket

·         Familiar with MPI standards

·         Own basic hand tools
