(First - Sous Chef)
We are looking for a well experienced First - Sous Chef for Magna Golf Club located at 14780 Leslie Street Aurora, ON L4G 7C3 Canada.

JOB DUTIES:
Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate food service operations for catering events, including weddings, corporate functions, and private events featuring South Asian and multi-cuisine menus.
Develop and implement procedures for menu execution and service delivery across buffet, plated, and food station formats.
Manage and supervise kitchen and event staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation.
Monitor food, labour, and operational costs, including portion control and ingredient management for South Asian cuisine.
Analyze event requirements, guest volumes, and dietary needs (including vegetarian and halal) to ensure efficient service execution.
Coordinate with suppliers for specialized ingredients, equipment, and off-site catering logistics.
Oversee guest service standards and resolve issues to maintain high-quality, culturally appropriate dining experiences.
Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations across all operations.
Prerequisites:
Education: Bachelor’s in Hotel Management or equivalent.
Experience: 5+ years or more in the food industry equivalent experience.
Hourly Wage: $36 to $38 per hour for 30 to 40 Hours per week
Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent
