· Salary: 25.00 hourly
· Hours may vary but will usually consist of 40 hours per week. Morning, Day. Must be flexible to work some Early morning, Evening hours as per business needs.

Overview
Languages; English. French is an asset.
Education: Bachelor's degree in related healthcare.
Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of related healthcare experience.
On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Work setting; Medical clinic
You will be responsible for administering hyperbaric oxygen therapy to our patients under the supervision of both a Hyperbaric Physician and Safety Director. All therapeutic and diagnostic modalities will be ordered by the Hyperbaric Physician.
Responsibilities and Tasks include, but not limited to:
· Responsible for the safety of all the patients.
· Educate patients and/or patient’s family as to the benefits, risks, contraindications and safety issues of hyperbaric oxygen therapy before treatment.
· Measures and obtains patients vital signs and necessary information such as blood glucose levels, patient’s weight, patient height as appropriate and record them.
· Assist Medical Director and Safety Director with treatment and education of patients.
· Examine the patients and talk to Safety Director/Doctor when needed i.e. pt vitals, any issues/symptoms the patient is having.
· Help medical examiner in charge and monitor the health of the patients while in the chamber.
· Seek assistance from Health and Safety Director/Physician as needed.
· Administer evaluative tests and procedures.
· Complete and maintain proper and accurate Patient Treatment/Diagnostic Records and progress reports.
· Process files and paperwork.
· Take patients' general medical and ophthalmic history.
· Clean equipment such as vital sign machines, thermometers, clinic chairs, etc., according to infection control standards.
· Clean Hyperbaric Chambers, including deep cleaning.
· Complete laundry including washing, drying, folding.
· Prepare Garment Bags, Patient Bins and Ensure the necessary Garment Bags, Chamber Clothing, Patient Bins are prepared and ready for the next dives/runs.
· Maintain continuous quality improvement duties and chart audits.
· Prepare and maintain inventor, equipment and supplies including laundry items, backup air and oxygen supplies on a daily basis.
· Read Safety Protocol binder and be familiar with those procedures.
· Complete Safety Consults, as appropriate and if delegated by Safety Director.
· Actively participate in all safety training exercises, audits and programs.
· Ensure that there are no safety hazards on the patient or patient’s gurney that would pose a threat to their safety in the chamber.
· Keep accurate patient records and maintain records of treatments given.
· Maintain clean and safe work environment
· Maintain professional certifications, if applicable.
· Supervise technical and support staff.
· Work in partnership with co-workers.
· Support strategies to increase awareness of Hyperbaric Medicine.
· Be familiar with the GO/NO GO List for the chamber located in the Chamber Operator Handbook. The Safety Director will provide you with a copy of the Chamber Operator Handbook during your first shift. The Medical Office Administrator and Safety Director are able to provide you with copies upon request.
· Any other duties as required for business needs.
Credentials: CPR Certificate and BLS.
