Experience is an asset; however, training will be provided.
Work Setting
This position requires working at various construction sites. Employees must be willing to travel frequently or constantly to different project locations.
Key Responsibilities
Load, unload, and transport construction materials
Read and interpret blueprints to determine work requirements
Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
Assist with aligning pipes during pipeline construction
Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs
Level earth to fine grade specifications
Assist in demolition of buildings and structures
Clean and organize salvaged materials
Perform routine maintenance and general labour tasks
Clean up chemical spills and other site contaminants
Remove rubble, debris, and waste from construction sites
Operate, tend, or feed construction machines and equipment as required
