Education:
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience:
1 year to less than 2 years in a related role
Key Responsibilities
Analyze budgets to boost and maintain restaurant profits
Develop budgets for food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies
Evaluate daily operations
Monitor revenues to determine labour costs
Monitor and supervise staff performance
Plan and organize daily operations
Set staff work schedules
Train and lead staff
Determine service types and implement operational procedures
Balance cash and complete financial reports
Conduct performance reviews
Enforce provincial liquor legislation and regulations
Organize and maintain inventory
Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
Negotiate with suppliers and catering clients
Participate in marketing plans and implementation
Address customer complaints and provide customer service
