Duties and Responsibilities
Analyze budgets to improve and maintain the restaurant’s profitability.
Develop operating budgets for food, ingredients, beverages, kitchen supplies, and cleaning materials.
Evaluate and oversee daily restaurant operations.
Review and modify food preparation methods and menu pricing based on operational and budgetary requirements.
Monitor revenues and labour costs to maximize operational efficiency.
Supervise and support restaurant staff in the performance of their duties.
Plan, organize, and coordinate daily restaurant operations.
Train employees on operational procedures, customer service, food safety, and workplace policies.
Balance cash, prepare balance sheets, cash reports, and maintain related financial records.
Conduct employee performance evaluations.
Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure efficient operations.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Participate in the planning and implementation of marketing initiatives.
Lead, mentor, and provide guidance to restaurant employees.
Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
Deliver exceptional customer service and promote a positive dining experience.
