· Salary starting at 17.85 per hour.
· Terms of employment: Permanent employment; Full time
· Must be flexible to work any assigned shift including Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, and holidays.
· Starts as soon as possible
· Benefits: vacation pay. If needed staff accommodation can be provided for a fee. Company will provide 50% contribution to Blue Cross medical benefits after 3 months of employment.

On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Responsibilities and Tasks
• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
• Prepare meals according to a set menu and monitor the portions.
• Follow directions of Chef and Manager.
• Work with specialized cooking equipment (deep fryer, pizza oven, etc.)
• Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
• Minimize wastage and apply the working knowledge of standard cost controls and waste management protocols in the kitchen.
• Store and properly handle raw or prepared foods and non-food supplies.
• Clean and sanitize production equipment, work surfaces, kitchen and food service areas.
• Participate in daily cleaning of the kitchen, which includes emptying trash containers as required, and operating dishwashing equipment.
• Assist management to estimate food requirements and costs and monitor and order supplies.
• Assist management in inspecting kitchen and food service areas and to train juniors if required.
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines
• Work together with Kitchen Staff.
• Any other duties as assigned.
Credentials: Safe Food Handling certificate
