Experience:
3 years to less than 5 years in a related role
Key Responsibilities
Analyze and manage budgets to maintain and improve restaurant profitability
Develop cost estimates for food, ingredients, alcohol, and supplies
Evaluate and oversee daily operations
Adjust food preparation methods and menu pricing based on financial targets
Monitor revenues and control labour costs
Supervise, train, and evaluate staff performance
Recruit employees and schedule staff shifts
Plan and organize overall restaurant operations
Ensure compliance with provincial liquor laws and regulations
Maintain inventory and negotiate with suppliers
Handle cash management, balance sheets, and financial reporting
Conduct performance reviews
Ensure health and safety standards are followed
Address customer concerns and provide excellent customer service
Support marketing initiatives and business growth
Coordinate catering services and facility use agreements
