We are seeking an experienced Interior Finish Carpenter to perform high-quality finishing work on residential and/or commercial construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for precise installation of interior components, ensuring all work meets design specifications, building codes, and quality standards.
Main Duties
Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements
Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
Instruct apprentices
Maintain clean and safe work environment
Inspect sites or facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards
Repair or replace interior components
Co-ordinate work activities with other project supervisors or mangers
Utilize hand and power tools
Employment Requirements
Completion of a carpentry apprenticeship program or minimum 5 years of related work experience
Experience in interior finishing carpentry (residential or commercial)
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
Physical ability to handle tools, materials, and perform manual work

Combination of sitting, standing, walking
Handling heavy loads
Physically demanding
