Chef De Partie-Indian Dessert
We are looking for a well-experienced Chef De Partie-Indian Dessert to work for Sula Indian Restaurant Main Street located at 4172 Main St, Vancouver, BC V5V 3P7, Canada.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Prepare and cook Indian desserts and sweets according to restaurant recipes and standards.
· Make desserts such as gulab jamun, rasmalai, kheer, kulfi, halwa, jalebi, laddoo, barfi, and fusion Indian desserts.
· Prepare dessert bases, syrups, creams, fillings, garnishes, and plating components.
· Ensure proper balance of sweetness, texture, flavor, and presentation.
· Manage mise en place for the dessert section before service.
· Plate desserts attractively and consistently for dine-in and takeout orders.
· Monitor quality, freshness, and portion control of all dessert items.
· Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the dessert/pastry section.
· Store dairy, nuts, fruits, spices, and dessert ingredients safely.
· Assist the Head Chef with seasonal dessert specials and menu development.
· Supervise or guide junior cooks/helpers in dessert preparation when required.
· Follow food safety, sanitation, and kitchen operating procedures.
Prerequisites:
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
Experience & Skills: 3 years to less than 5 years in the Food Industry.
Language: English

Good Knowledge of Indian Dessert
Hourly Rate: $36.60 for 30 to 40 Hours per week
Starting Date: As soon as possible
Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent
