Overview
Languages: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a bakery environment.
Credentials: Food Safety Certificate
On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Responsibilities
Tasks
· Evaluate daily operations.
· Determine staffing requirements and assist in hiring and onboarding process of the staff.
· Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages while ensuring a positive customer experience.
· Supervise and train junior staff.
· Conduct performance reviews.
· Clean kitchen and work areas.
· Maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment.
· Order ingredients, supplies and maintain inventory.
· Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
· Enforce policies and procedures.
· Maintaining bakery equipment and coordinating repairs.
· Controlling costs and maximizing profitability.
· When necessary, perform same duties of the workers supervised such as;
Bake mixed dough and batters.
Assist in preparation of dough for pies, bread, rolls and sweet goods, cookies and cakes and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
Preparation of ingredients; chopping vegetables, preparing sauce, shredding cheese.
Experienced stretching dough manually and transferring finished product to the oven.
Preparing and cooking pizza and panzerotti.
Maintaining a consistent flame for the woodburning oven.
· Any other duties as per business requirements.
