Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure a high-quality dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the food industry, with exceptional leadership skills and a passion for hospitality. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, maintaining food safety standards, and delivering outstanding customer service.
Hours per week: 30 hours
Hourly Rate: $37.00/ hour
Duties
Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to quality standards
Manage and train staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and customer service protocols
Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and controlling costs
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean kitchen environment
Handle cash management and POS transactions accurately, including Micros POS systems
Conduct interviews and hire new team members while fostering a positive work environment
Develop and implement training programs for staff to enhance skills in food handling and service
Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction
Collaborate with kitchen staff to create menu items that meet customer preferences
Skills
Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry
Strong leadership abilities with experience in team management and supervision
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues effectively
Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety regulations
Familiarity with cash handling procedures and POS systems (Micros POS preferred)
Background in hospitality with experience in serving or barista roles is advantageous
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with staff and customers
