Languages: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years supervisory experience with food industry experience
Work Setting: Restaurant and Bar
Credentials: Safe Food Handling certificate - can be obtained within 2 weeks of commencement of employment
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Standing for extended periods, Walking, Physically demanding, ability to handle up to 30lbs.

Job requirements and Responsibilities:
Assist the management to establish work schedules and methods to meet the schedules.
Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures.
Assist management to hire food service staff.
Prepare budget and cost estimates.
Address customers' complaints or concerns.
Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, servers, and bartenders.
Estimate and order supplies for kitchen, restaurant and Bar.
Ensure quality control of food and beverage.
Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage and prepare and submit reports.
Assist management in catering and restaurant functions.
Ensure that every area of the restaurant, bar, and kitchen are cleaned and sanitized.
Perform the same duties of the workers supervised, such as taking orders, serving food and beverage to customers.
Any other duties as required for business needs.
