We are looking for a well experienced Retail Sales Manager for our company Go Auto located at 2971 Main St S, Airdrie, AB T4B 3G5, Canada. However, you may be required to work at various locations within the same region.

Tasks and Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, direct and evaluate the operations of the sales department at Go Auto, ensuring alignment with dealership policies, annual targets and provincial regulatory requirements.
Lead the sales team by recruiting, hiring, training, scheduling and supervising sales staff and assistant sales managers; monitor performance and complete goal-setting reviews.
Develop and implement strategies to achieve departmental sales targets, including forecasting goals, analyzing market trends, managing controllable expenses and supporting promotional activities.
Oversee daily sales floor operations by preparing staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage and maintaining a professional and customer-focused environment.
Manage and monitor inventory needs by identifying units available for sale, coordinating with management on required stock, supporting inventory selection and conducting used-vehicle appraisals within company guidelines.
Review and validate all sales-related documentation, including customer records, ensuring completeness, accuracy and compliance with Go Auto policies, lender requirements and provincial regulations.
Support advertising, marketing and promotional campaigns in collaboration with the General Sales Manager and General Manager, ensuring effective presentation of inventory and dealership offerings.
Analyze and compile departmental performance reports, including daily summaries of appointments, test drives, sales activity, vehicles delivered and customer interactions, to provide management with operational insights.
Resolve customer concerns and escalate issues to the GSM/GM when necessary, ensuring consistent client satisfaction.
Ensure full compliance with dealership agreements, financial institution guidelines and provincial regulatory bodies; enforce internal policies and staff adherence to the Employee Code of Conduct.
Coordinate and oversee the sales process, including desking deals according to dealership guidelines, supporting team members with negotiations and helping maintain an efficient deal flow.
Evaluate staff development needs and implement training, coaching and performance-improvement programs to enhance sales productivity and increase gross profit.
Maintain a workplace culture consistent with Go Auto’s core values: trustworthiness, teamwork and customer-focused service; model ethical, legal and professional conduct in all interactions.
Report any condition that poses risk to staff, customers or dealership operations, ensuring immediate attention to safety, compliance and operational integrity.
Prerequisites:
Education: Secondary School or equivalent
Experience & Skills: 2 to less than 3 years of experience in sales or retail management or equivalent. | no info on the candidate

Hourly Rate: $41.25 to $43.00 per Hour for 30 to 40 hours per week
Starting Date: As soon as possible
Terms of Employment: Full time and permanent
