We are seeking a dedicated STORE SUPERVISOR to oversee daily operations and ensure the continued success of our establishment.
The key responsibilities of this position are:
· Plan, organize and supervise the daily store operations to ensure efficiency & profitability.
· Recruit, train, schedule, supervise, & evaluate staff performance.
· Prepare payroll by collecting & verifying staff hours, reviewing timecards & ensure all shift records are complete before submission.
· Authorized payments & return of merchandise
· Resolve customer complaints & issues to maintain high service standards.
· Implement policies & procedures for sales, merchandising & customer service.
· Oversee inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks to prevent shortages & overstocking.
· Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security standards by monitoring store conditions, addressing hazards & reinforcing safe work practices
· Prepare reports on sales, merchandising & operational performance
· Ensure that the visual standards and image of the store is maintained by proper displays, signage & cleanliness
· Support staff in assisting customers with basic pump‑related inquiries & outdoor service needs.
· Conduct routine walk‑throughs to identify & address potential safety risks inside the store & around the forecourt.
· Handle cash‑management duties, balance bills, verify cash drops, & prepare deposit summaries.
· Monitor deliveries, verify invoices, & ensure accurate stock entry & storage.
· Support staff in assisting customers with basic pump‑related inquiries.
· Ensure signage, lighting, & outdoor displays are maintained & visible.
· Monitor equipment (coolers, freezers, POS terminals, coffee machines, etc.) & report issues promptly.
· Ensure the fuel‑station forecourt remains tidy, clear of debris, & safe for customers.
· Monitor the fuel‑pump area for cleanliness, spills, hazards & ensure issues are addressed promptly
· Perform key holding duties like opening and closing the store.
Additional Skills:
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to resolve complaints effectively and maintain customer loyalty.
· Inventory management and supplier negotiation.
· Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and retail software.
Wage: $36.15/hour for 35 to 40 hours per week
Overtime: will apply after 44 hours per week.
Experience: 1-2 years.
Education: Completion of secondary school. Previous retail sales experience required.
