At our Tooth Corner Dental Clinics, we provide premium dental care at affordable prices offering a wide range of services such as orthodontics, cosmetic dentistry, root canal therapy, children’s dentistry, sedation, dental implants, oral surgery and much more. We are urgently seeking a User Support Technician to provide technical support across our multiple locations. You will be based at 121-377 Burnhamthorpe Rd E, Mississauga ON, L5A 3Y1 but will be required to trouble shoot and provide technical support to our multiple locations in and around the GTA. Must have own car and driver’s license
Job Duties of this position include:
· Monitor and maintain all IT systems to ensure optimal performance across multiple office locations.
· Check and maintain the Office Computers, CCTV, IP Equipment and servers.
· Provide system backups and hourly security checks.
· Troubleshoot hardware and software issues for office computers, servers and IP equipment.
· Troubleshoot and solve technical problems, install or update required software and hardware and recommend software for the company to improve productivity.
· Diagnose and resolve common network problems to minimize downtime.
· Update customer data and generate monthly performance and usage reports.
· Offer basic trouble shooting and technical assistance to staff across our multiple locations.
· Set up new equipment and upgrade existing systems.
· Perform regular system backups and hourly security checks to safeguard data.
· Maintain and regularly update the company’s website to ensure accurate and timely information.
· Ensure proactive security measures are in place to maintain data confidentiality.
· Set up new IT equipment and upgrade existing systems.
Additional Skills:
· Excellent hardware and software troubleshooting skills.
· Ability to manage LAN/WAN setups, internet connectivity and resolve network related issues.
· Providing patient, clear, and friendly support to non-technical users.
· Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts in simple terms
· Ability to prioritize tasks across multiple office locations and respond promptly to support requests.
· Thorough understanding of data protection protocols, especially in healthcare environments (e.g., HIPAA or PHIPA).
· Confident in deploying and updating dental practice software.
Wage: $36.15 per hour for a minimum of 30 hours per week. Overtime will apply after 44 hours per week @ 1.5 times the wage
Experience: 1-2 years
Education: College program in computer programming, computer science or network administration.
