Position Overview
Armour Guard Fence Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented CNC Machinist to perform precision machining and inspection work. The successful candidate will interpret technical drawings, prepare and inspect parts, and help ensure machined components meet specified dimensions and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Calculate and confirm dimensions and tolerances for machined parts.
• Measure and lay out workpieces before assembly.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and technical tables.
• Inspect and repair machine tools and related parts.
• Fit and assemble machined components to close tolerances.
• Maintain, repair and calibrate precision measuring instruments.
• Keep inspection records and prepare inspection reports.
• Check finished product dimensions with precision measuring instruments to verify accuracy and conformity with specifications.
Qualifications
• Language: English.
• Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years.
• Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years.
• Personal attributes: Accurate and able to work well in a team.
Working Conditions
Fast-paced and physically demanding work environment. All duties must be performed at the worksite; remote work is not available.
