Requirements:
· Must be lawfully authorized to work in Canada
- Canadian citizen
- Permanent resident of Canada
- Temporary resident of Canada with a valid work permit
· Proven experience as a Tandoori Chef or in a similar role in an Indian restaurant
· Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
· Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
· In-depth knowledge of Indian cuisine and Tandoori cooking techniques
Responsibilities
Tasks
· Determine the size of food portions and costs
· Prepare and cook tandoori dishes according to recipes and standards
· Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization
· Create marination from scratch for vegetables and meat
· Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
· Inspect kitchens and food service areas
· Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
· Order supplies and equipment
· Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
· Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
· Clean kitchen and work areas
· Manage kitchen operations
