Job Details:          

Job Title: Cook (NOC: 63200)

Salary: $ 18.50/ hour                         

Type: Full time minimum 30 hours/week. Some overtime, weekends and/or evenings may be required.

Positions Available: 4

Job Description:

·         Preparing dough for pizza making

·         Prepare and cook all menu items as per customer needs

·         Maintain quality standards and consistency of the food

·         Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment

·         Order supplies and equipment

·         Make responsible and safe use of kitchen equipment such as fryer, oven, grills, knives etc.

·         Inspect kitchens and food service areas to meet sanitation standards

·         Maintain a clean workstation and assist with kitchen cleaning

Minimum Education:

·         Completion of Secondary School.

Skill Requirements:           

·         Minimum 2 years of work experience as a cook on a similar environment or, equivalent culinary education.

·         Fluent English is required.

·         Able to work with minimal supervision.

Other requirements:

·         A valid FOODSAFE certificate will be an asset

·         Able to lift 50 pounds

·         Ability to stand for extended periods of time
