(Event Cook)
We are looking for experienced Event Cook for Elora Mill Hotel & Spa located at 77 W Mill St Elora, ON N0B 1S0, Canada.

JOB DUTIES:
Prepare high-quality food for weddings, banquets, and special events in a timely manner
Follow recipes, plating standards, and presentation guidelines consistently
Set up and maintain assigned kitchen stations during events and service periods
Ensure food quality, freshness, taste, and proper temperature control
Assist with banquet preparation, large-volume cooking, and event execution
Coordinate with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth event service
Accommodate guest dietary restrictions, allergies, and special meal requests
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all food preparation areas
Properly store food items and monitor inventory levels
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
Support event setup and breakdown for weddings and private functions
Work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment while meeting deadlines
Follow food safety, WHMIS, and health regulations at all times
Communicate professionally with team members to ensure excellent guest experiences
Assist with prep work including chopping, portioning, garnishing, and plating dishes
Prerequisites:
Education: Secondary (High) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
Experience & Skills: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
Language: English
Hourly Rate: $21 per hour for 30 to 40 hours per week
Starting Date: As soon as possible
Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent
