We are looking for a well-experienced baker to work for Pemberton Valley Supermarket located at 7438 Prospect St., Pemberton, BC, V0N 2L1, Canada.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare, mix, knead, proof, shape and bake a variety of breads, buns, rolls, pastries, cookies, muffins, cakes and other baked goods according to established recipes and production schedules.
Measure and combine ingredients accurately to ensure consistent product quality, taste and presentation.
Decorate and finish cakes, pastries and other specialty baked products using icings, glazes and other decorative techniques as required.
Monitor baking times, temperatures and product quality throughout the production process, making adjustments to ensure optimal results.
Maintain inventory of baking ingredients and supplies, notify management of shortages, and assist with ordering and stock rotation.
Ensure all baked goods meet company quality standards and food safety requirements before packaging, displaying or distributing for sale.
Clean and sanitize bakery equipment, workstations and food preparation areas while following food safety, sanitation and workplace health and safety regulations.
Assist in developing seasonal or specialty baked products and support daily bakery operations to meet customer demand and minimize product waste.
Prerequisites:
Education: Secondary (High) School graduation certificate or equivalent.
Experience & Skills: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience or equivalent
Language: English
Hourly Rate: $27 per Hour for 30 to 40 Hours per week
Starting Date: As soon as possible
Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent
