Job Duties
Supervise, coordinate and schedule employees involved in assembling, fabricating, inspecting and testing electrical and electronic components used in range hoods.
Establish work methods and coordinate production activities to meet schedules.
Inspect completed work and help maintain product-quality standards.
Resolve production problems and recommend measures to improve productivity.
Requisition required materials, components and supplies.
Train employees in job duties, workplace safety and company procedures.
Ensure workplace health and safety requirements are followed.
Prepare production, progress and quality-control reports.
Set up and operate assembly tools, machines and equipment when required.
Employment Requirements
Completion of secondary school is required.
Post-secondary education in electronics, electrical technology, manufacturing technology or a related field is an asset.
Previous experience in electrical or electronic assembly, fabrication, inspection, testing or a supervisory role is required.
Strong leadership, organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to communicate effectively in English.
