Computer Technician
ERS International is seeking a qualified and experienced Computer Technician to join our team.
Location: Toronto, Ontario
Wage: $36.92 per hour
Employment: Full-time
Job Duties:
Inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair computer hardware and related electronic equipment.
Install, configure, test, maintain, and upgrade computer hardware and software.
Diagnose hardware and system issues and replace or repair defective components.
Perform testing and functional assessments of computers, laptops, and related IT equipment.
Refurbish and prepare computer equipment for reuse or further processing.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, testing, equipment condition, and completed work.
Follow company procedures for the secure handling of computers and data-bearing devices.
Provide technical support and recommendations regarding computer equipment and hardware issues.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Requirements:
Relevant education or technical training in computer systems, electronics, information technology, or a related field.
Previous experience in computer hardware troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, or refurbishment is preferred.
Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and peripheral equipment.
Ability to diagnose technical problems and perform repairs independently.
Good communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
