(Food Services Manager)
We are looking for a well-experienced Food Services Manager for Aramark (Brown's) located at 28 William Street North, Tavistock, ON N0B 2R0, Canada.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plan, direct and evaluate daily food service operations across assigned locations, ensuring efficient workflow, consistent service and compliance with company standards.
Prepare and manage operating budgets; analyze revenues, labour costs and expenses to support profitability and responsible use of food, ingredients and operating supplies.
Review food preparation methods, menus, portion controls and pricing, and recommend adjustments that balance nutritional needs, service quality and budget requirements.
Determine the services to be offered, establish operational procedures, organize daily activities and set staff schedules based on service volumes and client requirements.
Lead, instruct and monitor food service staff; assign duties, assess performance, conduct reviews and provide coaching to maintain reliable and professional service.
Maintain inventory controls for food, beverages, kitchen materials and cleaning supplies; monitor usage, reduce waste and ensure adequate stock for uninterrupted operations.
Negotiate and coordinate with suppliers to secure quality food and operating supplies at appropriate costs, and verify that deliveries meet established specifications.
Ensure compliance with food safety, workplace health and safety, sanitation and applicable provincial liquor legislation through routine inspections and corrective action.
Consult with clients regarding catering services or facility use, confirm service details and coordinate staff and resources to deliver events according to agreed requirements.
Address customer concerns promptly, maintain service records and support marketing and operational initiatives that improve satisfaction, efficiency and business performance.
Prerequisites:
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
Experience & Skills: 2 years to less than 3 years of relevant experience.
Language: English
Hourly Wage: $26.00 to $28.00 per hour for 30 to 40 Hours per week
Starting Date: As soon as possible
Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent
Work Location and Schedule: On site at various locations; early morning, morning, day, evening, shift and weekend work
Required Credential:
Membership in the Canadian Society of Nutrition Management
